My role

This was my first real design project. I designed the web app and led development. Seven years later, the app is still largely unchanged. (opens in a new tab)

Custom waveforms

Like a lot of music apps, most of the screen was waveforms. So we wanted to try a few different versions and see what we could do with them. The one we ended up with uses Delaunay triangulation (opens in a new tab). It connects points into triangles, which we combined with color and transparency to get the unique waveform you see here.
