Alcamine

2025

Alcamine is a platform for building, testing, and deploying voice agents.

I designed the product from the ground up and helped build the core voice agent experience. Here are a few highlights.

Demo

A familiar experience

I wanted talking with a voice agent to feel like a Google Meet or Zoom call. So I used separate panels and active states to show who was speaking and when it was your turn to respond.

An early voice prototype

The Twenty Questions prototype shows an early version of that call experience, with separate panels for the agent and the player.

Creating and testing an agent

Making a call was one part of Alcamine. We also wanted people to create their own agents without writing a full prompt. I designed the onboarding flow and wrote a prompt that turned a sentence or two into a first draft of the agent’s instructions.

People could edit the draft, try a call, and adjust the instructions after hearing their agent respond.

I also wrote voice agent prompts and worked on how calls recovered from interruptions.
